Our Collection

Little Scricciolo

Named after the tiny wren — lo scricciolo — that nests among our olive branches, Little Scricciolo is the soul of our estate in a bottle. Six indigenous Tuscan cultivars are blended in harmony to create an oil of remarkable depth: bright and herbaceous on the nose, with a silky body that gives way to a distinctive peppery warmth. Winner of the Gold Medal at the Los Angeles International Extra Virgin Olive Oil Awards, it is a testament to the land, the climate, and the generations of care that shape every harvest in Bagno a Ripoli.

Our Heritage

Rooted in
Tradition

"The olive tree is the richest gift of heaven."
— Thomas Jefferson

The Zuti family has tended their ancient olive groves on the sun-drenched hillsides of Bagno a Ripoli, in the heart of Tuscany, for over three generations. What began as a small family farm in 1947 has grown into a celebrated artisan producer — yet the philosophy remains unchanged.

Every olive is still hand-picked at the precise moment of optimal ripeness. Every batch is cold-pressed within 24 hours. Every bottle carries the story of the land, the season, and the people who care for it.

The Process

01

Hand Harvest

Olives are carefully hand-picked at the peak of ripeness — typically in October and November — to preserve their full aromatic complexity.

02

Same-Day Pressing

Within 24 hours of harvest, olives are transported to our mill and cold-pressed at temperatures below 27°C to retain all natural antioxidants.

03

Natural Decanting

The oil rests in stainless steel tanks, allowing natural sedimentation without filtration — preserving the full polyphenol content.

04

Quality Testing

Every batch is tested by certified tasters and laboratory analysis before bottling, ensuring it meets our strict extra virgin standards.
